NWS FC Awarded SFA’s Quality Mark Bronze Award

NWS FC has been awarded the SFA’s Quality Mark Bronze Award.  In the SFA’s words, the Quality Mark “aims to reward those clubs who have a desire to be the very best they can be… and with the highest standards in coaching and player development.”

This is a fantastic achievement for the whole club and recognition of all the time, hard work, effort and commitment put in by all of our coaches, club helpers, parent supporters and young footballers.

NWS FC is the first club from the Skye and Lochalsh region to attain the Quality Mark. We are joining such established Highland League outfits as Fraserburgh FC, Nairn County and Buckie Thistle among the QM club ranks.

From a practical perspective, with our Quality Mark award we will now be assigned a Regional Club Development Manager at the SFA who will help us to progress the club at youth level and also with accessing other resources available to us through the QM scheme.

With the Quality Mark award, too, the door is fully open to us advancing with organising up regular fixtures with clubs from across the country operating at a high level of the youth game.

We are truly looking forward now to the start of an exciting new era for the NWS Youth squads and the football club as a whole.
